The sound of Lucrecia is Lucrecia Pérez.
Born in Pereira, Colombia, now based in Barcelona, Spain.  

Producer, singer and instrumentalist who started making music in 2003 with a laptop and voice.  Since then she has been continously working on her project and adding more and more elements to the construction.  Now her songs consist of melodic landscapes built by putting together voices, guitars, basses, programmed drums, and a big palete of self collected sounds, percussions and textures.

Congost is her latest release, recorded at home, self-produced and self-released in October 2009.

In her performances she ussually appears alone and her songs are progressively constructed live, recording and structuring the melodies and rhythms.
Since 2009 she’s joined on stage by percussionist Alexander Peterhaensel and by subtle projections modified in real time made by visual artists Ricardo Duque and Cristobal Castilla.

The sound of Lucrecia es Lucrecia Pérez, nacida en Pereira, Colombia, ahora vive en Barcelona, España.

Productora, cantante e instrumentalista que empezó haciendo música en el 2003 con un ordenador y la voz. Desde entonces ha estado trabajando continuamente en su proyecto, añadiendo mas y mas elementos cada vez. Ahora sus canciones consisten en paisajes melódicos construidos por voces, guitarras, bajos, baterías programadas y una amplia paleta de sonidos recolectados, percusiones y texturas.

Congost es su último lanzamiento,
grabado en casa, auto producido y auto editado en octubre de 2009.

En sus actuaciones en vivo usualmente aparece sola y sus canciones son construidas progresivamente estructurando las melodías y los ritmos. Desde el 2009 la acompañan en vivo el percusionista Alexander Peterhaensel y unas proyecciones sutiles modificadas en tiempo real hechas por los artistas visuales Ricardo Duque y Cristobal Castilla.
